A mixture of old school and modern lighting. Several dozen old fashioned blow mold snowmen, santas, etc mixed in with the latest in LED lighting. Old fashioned "one-horse-open-sleigh", runway lights to help Santa land at the "right" house, hand painted Nativity scene, and Santa coming out of a chimney on the roof! LEDs have helped substantially in reducing electical costs. Prior years power consumption for "main lights" was approx 3000 watts. Replacing those lights with similar sized LEDs reduced power consumption to about 120 watts - giving me plenty to spare for the $2000 worth of new stuff added this year, including a 6 foot tall "wood carved" Santa on the porch. Like many other large displays, this one has numerous visible and hidden infrared cameras recording all that goes on.

We are two 26 year olds who fund and install the entire show ourselves in our spare time. This is our 3rd year with our 32 channel, music synched, light show. We have an estimated 20,000 lights (5,000 are LEDs), including (3) animated LED trees, (1) animated LED “NOEL” sign, (1) 30’ tall white tree, (10) 12’ to 2’ tall trees, and about (60+) candy canes, that ALL dance to (4) Christmas songs. The show is about 8 minutes long and runs 6:30pm-10:00pm, 7 days/week and repeats every 15 minutes. We don’t have any characters or blow ups as this is strictly a light show. We haven’t sent our information to any websites, newspapers, etc. in the past because we just figured word of mouth would attract enough people. However this year, I think we have the only 6’ tall x 20’ long LED animated “NOEL” on a roof in the Bay Area!!!! (at least I haven’t seen or heard of anyone doing this before). Our goal was to be seen from 15,000 feet (aerial photos forthcoming). So I want to get the word out to everyone interested in seeing a great display.
