Started in 1948 when Charlie Vergos discovered a coal chute below his restaurant, Charles Vergo’s Rendezvous was born.

The coal chute allowed him to vent his grill and grow from ham and cheese sandwiches to ribs.

The menu now features a variety of sausages, sandwiches, pork, chicken, beef brisket, turkey, lamb, shrimp and even a vegetarian option.

The location also offers a variety of sauces and seasonings, t-shirts and aprons.
